In a bold move, he proposed that the Udham Singh Nagar district's Nepa Farm should be transformed into a semiconductor hub to attract industries, which could potentially boost employment in the region. Further, he sought the extension of the Regional Rapid Transit System from Delhi to Haridwar, and the inclusion of routing provisions for the Tanakpur-Bageshwar and Rishikesh-Uttarkashi railway projects.

He also briefed the Prime Minister on the preparations for the Mahakumbh 2027 in Haridwar, which will require comprehensive planning, including repairs of bridges and facilities like drinking water and sanitation for the devotees.
